Our Transport Process

A structured, repeatable process prioritizing safety, documentation, and communication

1

Authorization and Intake

Transport is initiated only after receiving proper authorization and required documentation from the referring agency, facility, or legal guardian. Intake details are reviewed and confirmed prior to scheduling.

2

Pre-Transport Coordination

Pickup location, receiving facility, travel method, and risk considerations are verified. Two-agent teams are assigned and briefed to ensure continuity and compliance before transport begins.

3

Secure Transport Execution

The youth is transported by a dedicated two-agent team using approved procedures focused on safety, de-escalation, and continuous supervision throughout the journey.

4

Verified Handoff and Documentation

Arrival is confirmed with the receiving facility or authorized party. Required documentation and status updates are completed to close the transport with full accountability.

Common Questions

What documentation is required to initiate a transport?

We require a signed Permission to Transport form from an authorized legal guardian or placing agency before scheduling. Additional intake documentation may be required by the receiving facility. Our coordination team will confirm all required paperwork prior to the transport date.

How are your transport agents trained?

All agents complete CPI training (Crisis Prevention and Intervention), de-escalation techniques, and CPR/First Aid. Lead agents have completed a minimum of 150 transports. Agents are background-screened consistent with client and contract requirements.

How do your agents handle a youth who is resistant or non-compliant?

Our agents are trained to gain cooperation through calm, professional communication. We do not use physical restraints or sedatives. Situations requiring de-escalation are managed through verbal techniques and professional presence.

What status updates will our agency receive during transport?

Authorized contacts receive updates at key milestones — including pickup confirmation, transit status, and arrival confirmation. Our coordination team is available 24/7 throughout the transport.

Can you accommodate youth with medical needs or behavioral considerations?

Yes. Medical needs, medications, and known behavioral considerations should be provided at intake so agents can be properly briefed. Prescription medications must be provided in original containers at pickup.

What happens at the receiving facility upon arrival?

Agents complete a verified facility handoff, transferring the youth along with required documentation, medications, and personal belongings to intake personnel. Transport details are reported to intake staff and arrival is confirmed with the referring party.
